Honey Cake with Sour Cream


For the test:

Eggs – 3 pcs.
Sugar – 1 stack.
Honey – 1 tbsp. l
Soda – 1 tsp.
Flour – 2 stack.

For cream:

Sour cream – 500 g
Egg yolks – 2 pcs.
Sugar – 1 stack.
Butter – 150 g

To decorate:

Walnuts – to taste
Chocolate – to taste


1. Beat the eggs together with the sugar into a light cream. Add honey and flour, sifted with soda. Mix. It should make a thick dough.
2. Preheat oven to 180ºС. Bake three thin cakes. Baking takes about 15 minutes. Ready cakes cool.
3. For cream, whip soft butter with sugar and yolks. Add sour cream and beat again.
4. Assemble the cake, greasing cakes with cream. Cover the top and sides of the cake.
5. Grind the walnuts in a blender and grate the chocolate. Sprinkle the cake with nuts and chocolate.
