Cottage cheese donuts in 10 minutes!
Egg 1 pc.
Sugar 5 tsp. (50 gr.)
Fat cottage cheese 250 gr.
Wheat flour 5 tbsp. (150 gr.)
Baking powder 1 tsp. with riding
Ground cinnamon 1 tsp.
Icing sugar for serving
Deep Fat Oil
1. Cottage cheese rubbed through a metal sieve to avoid lumps. Sift flour with baking powder in a bowl.
2. Beat the egg in the foam with sugar and cinnamon, add the cottage cheese, flour with baking powder and knead the dough. On a floured work surface, roll the dough into a sausage, cut into small pieces the size of a walnut, and shape them into balls.
3. In a deep saucepan, heat the oil for frying to 160-180 degrees C and dip donuts into it in small portions. When they float and turn red, remove them with a slotted spoon and put them on paper towels to get rid of excess fat. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve with any jam, dessert sauce or honey.
