A very simple recipe for bagels.
The dough turns out rich and, most importantly, do not wait until it comes, immediately after kneading, you can start baking. Very easy and fast.
1 pack (200 g) of oil
3 cups flour
1/2 cup sugar
10 gr. dry yeast
jam or jam, jam to your taste.
Sift flour into a bowl to saturate it with air. So bagels get lush. Pour the dry yeast into the flour and mix. On a coarse grater, rub the butter directly into a bowl of flour. Now with your fingers, rub the flour with butter to fine crumbs.
Beat the eggs with sugar until fluffy and pour the egg mass into the prepared dough, knead.
The finished dough can be left a little, for 10-15 minutes, so that it “came to itself.” Then roll out a portion of the dough into a circle, brush with jam or any jam to your taste, leaving dry edges and cut into sectors – large or small, as you like. Now roll the bagels and spread on a floured baking sheet.
You can also first cut the dough into sectors, only then smear each jam. It depends on the consistency of the jam and on your preferences. Bake at 180 degrees for 15-20 minutes.
